IDEM La Dolce Vita del Design: A Celebration of Italian Interior Design in Moscow



From September 24 to 28, the historic Petrovsky Passage hosted the fourth edition of the IDEM La Dolce Vita del Design exhibition, where over 30 leading Italian interior design brands unveiled their latest collections. This year, the event’s exclusivity was highlighted by new participants showcasing their creations in Moscow for the first time.




Among the season's highlights were the traditionally featured renowned brands: Barovier & Toso, Officine Gullo, L’Ottocento, Henge, and Bellavista Collection. They were joined by new additions from the W.W.T.S. portfolio, including prestigious Italian manufacturers Arcahorn, Ludovica Mascheroni, and Quagliotti, alongside other acclaimed brands such as Emmemobili, Noorth, Vitage, and Casamilano.




Each year, IDEM La Dolce Vita del Design at Petrovsky Passage attracts more than 3,500 interior industry professionals from Russia and the CIS.



A Memorable Opening Ceremony


The exhibition's opening was elevated by a captivating performance from the talented singer Anna Podorolskaya, accompanied by Ilya. Their enchanting music created a sophisticated atmosphere, leaving guests mesmerized by Anna's vocals and stage presence.

  • Olga Bozhko, Design Critic, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of INTERIOR+DESIGN

    Topic: “Key Trends in Contemporary Design”Overview: Immersive installations, collaborations with luxury, fashion, and architecture, advanced technologies, and the optimistic spirit of the '70s, '80s, and '90s. Emphasis was placed on sustainable materials, artificial intelligence, and the synthesis of interior design with art and sculpture.




  • Ugo Cacciatori, Italian Designer

    Topic: “From Carrara Marble to Contemporary Design: The Influence of Historical Roots on Creativity”Overview: Ugo Cacciatori, from the city of Carrara, explored how personal history shapes a unique creative philosophy.





  • Marina Gisich, Gallerist, Founder of Marina Gisich Gallery and Marina Gisich Design Studio

    Topic: “Art as the Soul of Space”Overview: How art can transform and personalize interiors, creating unforgettable impressions.



  • Paolo Capoferri, Owner and Lead Engineer of Capoferri

    Topic: “Innovation and Aesthetics: Capoferri’s Role in International Architectural Projects”Overview: Paolo Capoferri highlighted the importance of collaboration between design studios and specialized manufacturers in turning bold ideas into reality through unique engineering solutions.




  • Elisabetta Fabbri, Italian Architect

    Topic: “La Dolce Vita of Color: A Journey of Color Between Restoration and Design”Overview: Elisabetta Fabbri discussed how historical and modern color choices can dialogue while preserving cultural heritage. The recreation of original colors enhances the aesthetics of spaces, creating an atmosphere of timeless elegance.

Guests also enjoyed exquisite appetizers and prosecco at the Fattoria Marian bar.

To conclude the cultural program, the renowned singer Roberto delivered a stunning performance during the gala dinner. His powerful voice and vibrant energy captivated the audience, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere. Alongside the culinary delights from BOSCO, the evening was filled with unforgettable musical moments, embodying the essence of Italian style and culture.




Thus, IDEM La Dolce Vita del Design once again served as a significant step in strengthening cultural ties between Italy and Russia while promoting contemporary design trends.
